Website FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

From your story to your website: answers about the interview, build, launch, and monthly management.

Interview & build

What’s included in the website build?

Your recorded on-camera interview shapes the website writing, custom design and build, and initial reels: edited short videos with accompanying written copy, for social media or other uses.

You appear on camera to tell your story. The proposal confirms deliverables, timeline, reel quantity and scope, and agreed revisions before you commit. Launch follows your approval. Additional reels, ongoing content, or other work outside that scope need a separate quote and your approval.

What if I’m nervous about getting on camera?

You’ll need to appear on camera because the content tells your story. It’s normal to feel nervous: the video interview is a conversation, not a performance. Tell me your concerns beforehand so we can prepare together.

Think about your work, audience, and common questions. Bring existing copy, images, or examples. We’ll discuss preparation before your on-camera interview; project-specific requirements are confirmed in the proposal.

How do reviews and revisions work?

I’ll review the site with you and make revisions within our agreed scope. Your proposal sets the review and approval process; requests beyond it need a separate quote and your approval. The website launches only after your approval.

Launch & monthly management

How long does a website take?

As a guide, design and build takes about two weeks after the recorded interview, assuming materials are ready. The estimate does not start at the introductory call. Your proposal confirms the schedule; this is not a guaranteed launch date.

Can you help with my domain?

You own your domain. I can help with setup or purchase. The proposal confirms renewal responsibilities and any domain, third-party subscription, or other external fees before you commit. These are separate from the website build.

What does monthly management cover?

Monthly management starts when the site goes live unless otherwise agreed. It covers hosting, software maintenance, monitoring for loading problems, and agreed text or photo changes to existing pages. This does not include unlimited edits. Your proposal sets the scope and workload; new pages, integrations, or ongoing content need a separate quote and approval.

How do I end monthly management?

Give 30 days’ notice to end monthly management. Access and assets are transferred within one month of receiving your notice of intent to end the service. Third-party transfer restrictions still apply.

Pricing & scope

What does a website cost?

Each website is quoted individually based on scope. After an introductory call, your written proposal and quote set the deliverables, revisions, schedule, and one-time build fee before you commit. You approve it before the separate recorded interview or build begins.

Domain and third-party fees are separate.

We discuss the impact of changes on scope and cost. New pages, integrations, additional reels, ongoing content, or substantial changes outside the agreement need a separate quote and your explicit approval before any extra work begins.
