Site information
Privacy Notice.
How the information you send through Marc Miceli’s portfolio is handled.
Effective and last updated: October 21, 2026
Site analytics
When site analytics is enabled, Replit’s analytics records page visits. Custom events record key link clicks, Journal filters, FAQ openings, form progress, and accepted submissions. These custom events do not include your name, email address, phone number, social profile, message, or other form answers.
What you send
The general Contact form asks for your name, email address, Instagram profile URL or handle, and message, with an optional phone number. If you send a handle, it is stored as a profile URL. The separate website-project inquiry asks about who you are, your work or story, audience, goals, current website, desired scope, timing, and contact details. You can choose what to include in free-text answers.
Why and how it is used
Marc uses submitted details to read and respond to your message, understand a possible project, and, where relevant, prepare a project-specific proposal. For a website inquiry, Marc follows up to coordinate a discovery conversation; an inquiry does not book a call.
Accepted submissions are stored in the site’s server-side database. Notification copies of the details are sent to Marc’s configured email inbox through Gmail SMTP; the email address you provide is also used as the reply-to address for those notifications. If email delivery fails, the stored submission remains available for a later notification attempt.
Services involved
The hosting and database services that run this site process and store submitted information. Google’s Gmail service processes the notification emails. The site also loads fonts from Google when you visit. Technical requests to the site and these services may involve information such as your IP address and browser details. This notice does not set a retention period for hosting or email-service records.
Keeping in touch about your information
No fixed retention period for submitted contact messages or inquiries has been established here. To ask about a submission, request a correction or removal, or raise a privacy question, please use the Contact page. Marc can review your request; this page does not promise an automatic deletion process or a specific response time.
